Do you not see that Allah has sent down rain from the sky and the earth becomes green? Indeed, Allah is Subtle and Acquainted. (Surat Al-Hajj verse 63)
Allah has knowledge of all things even the very subtle or the very hidden. And He shows His immense mercy to His slaves in very subtle ways known to no one but Him.
God’s tenderness can be seen on various ways, such as when He descending rains after a long dry season.
Or he directs a servant towards a path where certain sustenance is is waiting for for him.
It could also be in the form of Allah motivating certain servant to study more of the Islamic principles.
He also inflicts disaster on a servant to reduce his sins.
Among other forms of tenderness is when someone is given a good family or friend that always invites to goodness.
Other tenderness arises in the form of a servant being kept away from from heresy.
Such are some examples of the all-subtle nature of Allah. So keep in mind that He will not abandon us. He knows best what is the most suit for each servant; then ask for the best according to His knowledge; not according to our judgement.
Remember, that the All-Subtle always opens the door of repentance; then do not despair of Him. It is possible that the calamity that befell us today is nothing but a way to elevate degrees of us and also cleanse of past sins.
