Not a few among us are willing to travel far only to ease the grief at heart. Nor few of us are willing to spend a large sum of money just to remove grief. A moment may succeed; but why in the next time the grief again filled of the heart?
For those of you who are non-Muslims, this might be a new thing for you. For my dear Muslim brothers and sisters, I just want to remind you that the antidote is near you. Open the Qur’an and learn what Allah says in Surat al-Isra ‘verse 82,
“And We have sent down from the Qur’an nothing which is a antidote and a mercy to those who believe. And it does not add to the tyranny except the loss.”
In addition to giving a real account in the Qur’an, Allah also reinforces His promise through the oral messenger of Allah,
“Allah does not bring down a disease unless He also decreases the medicine.” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari from Abu Hurairah).
Spend your time studying the Qur’an and sunnah (words, deeds, and apostles’ approval of a friend’s deeds) then you will find how much healing that God has taught then proved by His apostle.
