بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْم
Allah is the creator, the owner, and disposer of all affairs who bestows His blessings upon His creatures. He also look after His righteous servants by setting their hearts aright. This name must not be attributed to other than Allah, Exalted be He. However, when used to refer to other than Allah, it is always used in the genitive case without the definite article, to mean ‘the owner or proprietor of something’, such as rabb al-‘usrah (the head of the family) or rabb al-bayt (the head of the house).
The word ‘Ar-Rabb’ ocurred 900 times in The Qur’an, and one of the example could be found in surat Al-Fatihah, 1:2,
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
“All praise due to Allah, The Lord (Ar-Rabb) of the universes.”
