you are looking for true happiness, i think you can consider this verse. Hope it can be a means to what you are looking for. A true happiness.
“Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a wrd of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honor.” (Surah Al-Israa’: 23)
Happiness will not come to people who depend on other than Allah. Maybe they will get a momentary satisfaction from the dependency to materialistic life, but certainly not happiness. Because true happiness always accompanies a person in both happy and difficult conditions. True happiness will dispel the turmoil and make one more stable; While the materialistic life only gives a brief satisfaction followed by long sorrownes.
Happiness also comes from filial piety to both parents, for though it is not always easy, but it is a command from Allah who is more than able to give happiness. There is no happiness for the disobedient.
And if you decide to contemplate this surah more (at least until verse 41) then we will find many other praiseworthy things that can bring happiness.Allah commands His servants to treat their parents well, pray for them, take care of the rest of family, love the children, stay away from adultery, be honest in transactions, and not be arrogant; Is it possible to teach evil?
Please reflect and let your heart answer.
